Take a selfie

Hello again. I can't help but to notice that no one read my last post on here. No one even looked at it. I love to rant about things like that that don't matter. I am going to continue on in my life and pretend it never happened. My next topic is titled take a selfie because this is really meant for myself and not for any one else. The title also will bring in a a few more people. I can't wait for the disappointed faces that I won't see when they realize this has nothing to do with selfies.

There is no actual topic. I just wanted to say that and I improv. Well I can't think of a thing. Goodnight.

Time

I thought time would be a good topic to write about. I just watched X-men days of future past. It was a  pretty good movie by the way. I also thought it would be nice because it has been a while since I posted anything on this page. Time just seems to be an overly appropriate topic. As always I am a very objective human and i am going to ramble on about it pointlessly and hope one or two of you areentertained.

   Lets start on the fact that time is happening right now. Whether you see it as something fathomable or some universal law or some man-made divison of time. It is here either way. One of my favorite terms is, "Time likes to pass,  one second every second."

   There are other little things that i could say but i would rather not because this kwyboard is sucking. I'm not even going to give my regular outro or edit it. See ya in some TIME. (I'm such a dork)

Geniuses

There is something specific that I read in a preface to a book that reminded me of something so I decided to write a blog about it because I can. "Master pieces are not accidents. Geniuses know what they are trying to do." That reminded me of something Sherlock would always say. He would say that it isn't amazing or great or anything romanticized. He would say, "It is simply science." Sherlock is a fictional character, but he considered to be a genius and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is a genius for writing such a masterpiece. I thought through this because I am sometimes considered to be a genius, but I don't plan out everything I do. I also think, if I apply myself in that way, what could I accomplish? You could think, "Why would this fool go to a blog to write a continuous stream of his thoughts?" To that I say, "Why not?"

Ragnarok

   I don't know if anyone else who may read this knows, but Ragnarok was on Saturday. If you don't know what that is, it is the day is Norse mythology in which everyone dies. I brought it up because if you can't tell, we all survived. WOOOO! I know. It is exciting. Here is what I went through on this fateful day.

   I was waking up to a normal day. All was fine until my sister called me to tell me the news. It went something like, "Did you here about Ragnarok? It's today? Do you know what that is?" Being me, I know about a lot of this stuff because I am one of those people that the scholars call "stupid" but all of the normal people call "pretty knowledgeable." I knew and I did a little bit of research and found myself a countdown. I went on with my day yelling "for Ragnarok!" or "for Asgard!" while playing a happy game of basketball. (in which I did make someones lip bloody while defending for Ragnarok) It was a normal day but something amazing did happen. I survived. This is the fourth end of the world that I survived and I think I am pretty proud of myself.

   There is a dangerous thing about religions. When they predict an exact day of the end and it happens and everyone happens to still be here, they are pretty much seen to be false and they have to find a new meaning of life. I wonder if anyone still believes in Asgard's gods and if they think they need to find a new way of life. Even if they do still believe, they need to find something because Asgard doesn't exist and they are all pretty much dead.

Bad Weather

   Bad weather is a thing now. It is running through the southern skies and snowing on all of our roads. Our apparently extra potent snow is running through and causing a state of emergency in the Georgia area. I am going to have a small discussion about weather here and if you are from the north, tell me how it is going up there in the trusty comment section. If you are anywhere, tell me how it is. 

  

   Right now I am in the southern area of the United States. Last time it snowed was two weeks ago. One inch of snow caused wrecks everywhere and children were stuck at schools because the buses couldn't run. Is it the snow that causes these problems or is it bad drivers that seem to think that you can drive in the snow the same way that you drive in normal conditions? Honestly, I think it is bad drivers. I made it all the way home without any problems. It was great. I know. I must have dodged all of the magical dangerous snow and only drove through the good snow. 

   Now it has snowed again and all of the roads are covered again. I didn't hear of as many wrecks but I have been at home the whole time. Schools didn't run this time because last time they tried to get a full day in and get paid, people got stuck there. They are obviously not trying to risk it this time. There is a lot more snow and many events are being cancelled because of it. 

   I guess the overall question is, is this a bad thing or a good thing. From my personal opinion, I am glad that I don't have to do some of these events and that schools are closed. Objectively, it isn't good that less things are being done. Days are going to be taken to fill the roles of those days that were lost. We are going to have to tighten schedules to get things done sooner because we lost days. Overall, it is a bad thing, but because I am a modern American and I want things now, I see it as a good thing right now.

Good Video Game Music

   This is a topic that I am objective about just like every topic that slides out of my tablet that I write these on. I heard something from my band director that went a little something like, "Video games don't have real music. It's all synthesized." I kinda sat there thinking, Oh the ignorance! I could tell from that that he had never played anything beyond the Nintendo.Yes I am aware that some video games contain synthesized music. I am also aware that most video games contain these magical things called instruments that are put into the video games by this magical thing called recording software. I know that not everyone plays video games and just because I play video games doesn't make me better than everyone else, but I also know that before you make wild accusations about anything, you should at least know what you are talking about. I am listening to video game music right now and do you know what? It is pretty great. Some of it contains some synthesized music but, most of it is a very awesome violin solo. There is also some guitar and a lot of drums. You can tell that the violin is recorded. Recording was invented a long time ago. It can be implemented into a lot of things. Video games are some of those things.
 
   That wasn't very long but I think I got my point across with it. If you liked it, say something pretty in the comment area. Fatality!

  What is this about? No, it isn't about actual fatalities. This is about video games. This isn't some simple video game walkthrough or talking about a specific video game. This a discussion about video games in general. This is about violent video games and how they are affecting the world. This doesn't bash them at all, this is just an objective view from different points of view.
 
   First off, there are those who are for it. Why would games influence people in any way? There aren't really any bad video games, just bad people. Video games don't make people kill people. There were more wars before video games than afterwards. Hitler existed before video games. Besides, there are rating systems for a reason.

   On the other side, video games are bad. Violent video games should be outlawed. Why even have them? They make people do horrible things. Teenagers go gangbang and stuff because a video game told them it was alright. Video games make the police look like bad guys and that translates to the real world.

   Personally, I don't mind bad video games. I am not influenced by them in any way except for the purpose that they are meant to serve, entertainment. When I am bored, I like to compete with others, doing things that I could never do in real life. It is fun and it doesn't make me go kill my friends. People that play video games don't even have time to gangbang because they are too busy playing video games
